Care recruitment that respects the role and the people who do it.

Why we exist

Care staffing is its own discipline. The submission matters more than the volume. The reliability and the compassion decide whether a CNA, an HHA or an RN is still on your schedule six months in. Generalist agencies treat care like any other category and miss the signals that decide retention.

Higher Care Staffing Agency was set up to fix that. We are a US permanent staffing partner with one belief at the centre of the desk: a placement only works if the caregiver, the resident and the operator all feel served. The provider gets a brief taken seriously, screened candidates delivered on time and a partner who knows the role's real shape. The caregiver gets the truth about the schedule, the residents and the team, not a sales pitch.

What we do, plainly

We place permanent caregivers and clinicians for US home care agencies, assisted living communities and hospice providers across ten specialties. Our desk is built around hires that stay - the brief, the screening, the offer support, the day-7 / 30 / 90 follow-ups - every step geared toward six-month outcomes.

The roles we place most often:

  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
  • Home Health Aides (HHAs)
  • Personal Care Aides (PCAs)
  • Medication Technicians
  • Registered Nurses (RNs)
  • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
  • Companion Caregivers
  • Memory Care Specialists
  • Hospice Support Staff
  • Care Coordinators (RN and non-clinical)

Who we work for

Our clients are US home care agencies, assisted living communities, memory care operators, hospice providers and Medicaid-funded home and community services. Mostly mid-market with operators who want to spend less time on recruitment and more time on resident care.

How we screen

Every caregiver goes through:

  • State license verification (CNA / HHA / RN / LPN as relevant)
  • Federal and state background checks
  • Drug screen where the role requires it
  • Reference contact (current and previous employer where possible)
  • A compassion-led conversation about why they are in care, what kept them in previous roles and what made them leave
  • Schedule flexibility, expectations and motivation captured in writing

How we think about a placement

A successful placement is not a resume submission. It is the moment six months later when the caregiver is still on the schedule, still showing up, still good with residents. That is the only outcome that matters to us, and the only one we measure against.

Our values, the short version

  • Care comes first. Compassion is screened for, not assumed.
  • Tell the truth. If the wage is below market, we will say so. If the schedule is harder than the brief admits, we will tell the candidate before they accept.
  • One throat to choke. One partner per client, end to end. No call-center handoffs.
  • Stand behind the work. Free replacement period on every placement. No small print.
  • Verify, then verify again. License, background, references, motivation - all checked before submission.
